LFA/Anise Photo Exhibition: Post War Craft – How LCC Architects Redefined High Rise Living

Chosen as one of Dezeen’s ‘top ten LFA picks,’ last night’s ‘Post-War Craft’ photography exhibition opened with aplomb at Anise Gallery, drawing in a lively crowd of architects and creatives alike.

Photographed and mounted by our in house photographer Matthew White, this exhibition gave us a colourful insight into how South London’s post-war landscape was radically transformed by the development of high-rise social housing, both brutalist and modernist in style. Also featuring original plans, architectural drawings and video footage from Tom Cordell’s ‘Utopia London,’ we learnt about the extent to which the state and city council once shaped South East London’s skyline.
